The Commerce Department has additional restricted the sale of U.S. know-how to China’s main high-tech agency, Huawei Technologies, revoking sure allowances of U.S. chip gross sales amid renewed scrutiny of the corporate in Washington.
“We are not commenting on any specific licenses, but we can confirm that we have revoked certain license for exports to Huawei,” the Commerce Department mentioned in a press release Tuesday.
