Atsuko (*18*) wrote on her private weblog that the 18-year-old dog died peacefully early Friday in her dwelling in Sakura, Japan, as (*18*) was petting her. “Kabo-chan,” as (*18*) affectionately known as her, was “calm, kind and laid back.”
