MIAMI — Hundreds of dancers got here to the Kaseya Center on Saturday hoping to make the minimize and turn out to be a member of a really prestigious group.
In order to turn out to be a Miami Heat dancer, the ladies auditioning knew they needed to be good.
“I need to be on this team,“ said auditioner Brettnie Blake. ”A number of my buddies have completed it already and I stated okay that is my flip.”
Spice, approach, stamina, and endurance is required for these ladies.
“I am a bit nervous but also excited,” stated Amaya White. “It’s good nerves, you know what I mean? I just want to dance.”
Many of the dancers in attendance have skilled their entire life for this, and it’s solely the first day.
Most of the girls received’t survive Saturday.
About 400 dancers are competing for three spots.
Coach Natalia Gonzalez gave recommendation to those dancers.
“Be your authentic self,” stated Gonzalez. “The judges can see that, obviously we can see that the dancers are nervous, so we give them grace. We want them individuals for who they are and that’s what we want them to show us on the court.”
