MIAMI — Davion Mitchell slot in like a glove with Miami Heat tradition since he was traded to the workforce in February.
The guard signed a 2-year contract extension with Miami on Monday.
On Tuesday, Mitchell was already appearing as an envoy for the workforce.
The guard visited Jr. Heat Camp in Miami and Cooper City.
He took questions from campers, confirmed them drills, signed autographs, and took photos.
Mitchell additionally spoke with reporters about his determination to remain with the Heat.
Mitchell mentioned, “Anything’s possible. I’m just excited to be back here with this group of guys, this coaching staff, this organization, it’s completely different than every place I’ve been in. They take winning seriously, and I respect that so I’m excited to be here.”
