Dolphins placing Tua Tagovailoa on IR, will miss at least next four games

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa goes on injured reserve.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins placing Tagovailoa on IR as a result of concussion he suffered throughout final Thursday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Tagovailoa, whereas working for a primary down, collided with Bills security Damar Hamlin and was instantly faraway from the sport.

During his four 12 months NFL profession, Tagovailoa has now suffered three documented concussions. He mentioned he has no plans to retire.

Due to going on IR, Tagovailoa will miss at least Miami’s next four games.

He will be next eligible to play when Miami hosts the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 27.

Backup QB Stylar Thompson has been named the Dolphins starter for Week 3 when Miami travels to face the Seattle Seahawks.
