Dolphins team leaders, head coach Mike McDaniel discuss how much they’ll play in preseason games

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins host the Washington Commanders in a preseason sport Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium.

How much the starters will play has not been determined but.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa met with the media on Tuesday.

He talked about the advantage of taking part in time.

Tagovailoa stated, “Get some reps, getting back into the pregame routine, get back into the feel of what it feels like to prepare get ready for a game, getting into game-like situations, getting hit, hopefully not.”

Tagovailoa stated the team leaders meet with head coach Mike McDaniel to discuss how much they’ll play.

As for the grind of coaching camp, Tagovailoa stated, “You start into the future of things then you start to think of unnecessary things.. you have to get through this practice, this rep, this play. After practice is over, what’s the next thing I have to focus on.”

Tagovailoa talked concerning the absence of newly-acquired Odell Beckham Junior who has been out because the begin of camp.

Tagovailoa stated he was capable of throw a bit with Beckham Junior, however not routes.

Tagovailoa stated, “I think it’s more confidence for him, when he can start running and catching balls and seeing it with guys across from him. It’s a whole other thing, where to line up.”
