MIAMI SHORES, Fla. — Jimmy Butler is again in South Florida.
Butler and the Warriors labored out at Barry University forward of their showdown with the Miami Heat on Tuesday evening.
Butler left Miami on unhealthy phrases, being suspended by the Heat thrice, earlier than lastly being traded to Golden State.
Once with the Warriors, Butler obtained the profitable contract extension that he had been in search of in Miami.
Butler stated Monday that he and the Heat had reached the purpose of no return final April or May.
Butler stated he knew what course his state of affairs was heading earlier than the season even began.
Butler stated, “I think the suspensions happened because they just didn’t want me to be around the team… it is what it is, I do some bills, so what?”
Butler stated, “I’m in a better place now for me, I wish continued success for those guys over there.”
The former All-Star stated he had some nice yr in Miami, together with two runs to the NBA Finals.
As for his popularity after the unhealthy breakup with the Heat, “I’ve always been painted as the bad guy. Everywhere I’ve been, I’m always the problem.”
The Heat are planning a tribute video for Butler. He stated that he does plan to watch it.
