Skylar Thompson signs with Pittsburgh Steelers

MIAMI – The Skylar Thompson period is over with the Miami Dolphins.

According to Thompson’s agent, the quarterback has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Dolphins drafted Thompson within the seventh spherical out of Kansas State.

Head Coach Mike McDaniel and his workers labored to develop Thompson right into a backup for Tua Tagovailoa.

This season, the Dolphins introduced in Tyler Huntley and he took over the backup job.

Thompson, 27, now will get a chance with Mike Tomlin and Pittsburgh.
