SEOUL – South Korea’s authorities says it will begin suspending the licenses of striking junior doctors next week.
Vice Health Minister Park Min-soo made the feedback throughout a briefing Thursday as he repeated calls for for the doctors to return to work instantly.
More than 90% of the nation’s 13,000 doctors-in-training have been on strike for a few month to protest the authorities’s plan to sharply improve medical college admissions.
Their strikes have prompted lots of of cancelled surgical procedures and different therapies at hospitals.
