MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins know the Playoff scenario.
The Fins have to beat the Jets on Sunday and have the Chiefs beat the Broncos.
If that occurs, the Dolphins know that they’ll earn the No. 7 AFC Playoff seed.
There are, nevertheless, large questions in regards to the quarterback place.
Starter Tua Tagovailoa sat out in opposition to the Browns on Sunday because of a hip injury.
Backup Tyler Huntley led the Dolphins to a 20-3 win over the Browns.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel talked about Tagovailoa’s injury on Monday.
McDaniel stated, “It was about the timing when the game was relative to his recovery process from the last week, which was a different timeline from the week previous.”
McDaniel stated that this leaves the group “firmly in the unknown.”
The Dolphins head coach stated that group medical doctors all the time have the ultimate say if it is secure for a participant to go or not.
On Tua’s hip, McDaniel stated, “It didn’t improve as we were forecasting. Not necessarily worse, you were expecting things to progress and sometimes the body could care less about your expectations.”
McDaniel stated, “It was not safe at all based on a litany of things that his body was vulnerable to.”
McDaniel stated that the Dolphins will give extra apply reps to Huntley than Tagovailoa this week, however they’ll proceed to observe the starter’s progress.
